A drug for the treatment of gynecological diseases, it has an astringent (coagulates protein), cauterizing, keratolytic, local vasoconstrictor and hemostatic, bactericidal, fungicidal, antiprotozoal effect. Promotes the rejection of necrotic tissue, damaged or pathologically affected cells. When unhealthy cells are rejected, the healthy epithelial layer of the mucosa is not damaged, which enhances epithelization. It has an astringent and vasoconstrictor effect, which leads to a hemostatic effect.

One suppository contains:

  • Polycresulene or polymethylene-meta-cresol sulfonic acid 90 mg;
  • Excipients: polyethylene glycol 400, polyethylene glycol 6000, purified water.


the drug is applied topically, intravaginally:           

  • with erosion of the cervix and vagina;
  • in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the vagina and cervix;
  • for the treatment of cervicitis (increased vaginal discharge) with various vaginal infections;
  • to eliminate genital itching;
  • in the treatment of genital ulcers resulting from the use of pessaries;
  • to normalize vaginal microflora.

The use of Elitjen does not lead to scarring. Treatment is carried out under medical supervision after excluding tumor and other specific processes.
Method of administration and dosage: Elitjen vaginal suppositories are used once every two days. After cauterization, use suppositories at intervals of once every two days. Suppositories are recommended to be used in a lying position, immediately before bedtime. Sanitary pads should be used to protect your underwear. Before use, suppositories can be moistened with water.
