The drug has antiaggregation, antihypoxic, antioxidant, angioprotective, antitoxic, retinoprotective effects. Stabilizes the membranes of blood vessel cells and red blood cells, increases the resistance of red blood cells to mechanical injury and hemolysis. The drug reduces capillary permeability, strengthens the vascular wall, normalizes the circulatory function of intraocular fluid, stabilizes the cell membrane, inhibits platelet aggregation, reduces blood clotting and viscosity.
1 ml of solution contains:
- methylethylpyridinol hydrochloride 10 mg.
- treatment and prevention of inflammation and burns of the cornea;
- treatment of hemorrhages in the anterior chamber of the eye;
- treatment and prevention of hemorrhages in the sclera in elderly patients;
- thrombosis of the central retinal vein and its branches;
- treatment of complications of myopia (dystrophic changes in the retina);
- diabetic retinopathy;
- corneal protection (when wearing contact lenses);
- to protect the retina from exposure to high intensity light (laser and sunburn, during laser coagulation).
Directions for use: Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is from 3 to 30 days. If necessary and well tolerated, the course of treatment can be continued for up to 6 months or repeated 2-3 times a year. Doses and duration of treatment are determined individually by the attending physician.
